[discussion] OFA Door-to-Door Canvassing Every Day of the Week till Nov 2

Only 69 Days Left to Nov 2 !!! Let Us Increase our Efforts !!!
Starting on Aug 23 we have been now conducting door-to-door canvassing every day of the week (including weekends) for the purpose of contacting voters and urging them to support the Democratic Candidates (Sestak for Senate, Dahlkemper for House of Representatives, Onorato for Governor, as well as down the ticket candidates when we canvass in their district). Our canvassing time has now moved to 4:00-7:00 pm so as to take advantage of the shorter daylight hours.
Also starting this weekend we will be canvassing in black neighborhoods once or twice a week in an attempt to increase the turnout for the 2010 Midterm Elections in the black community.
We are distributing brochures and info about all Democratic Candidates and when beneficial President Obama's Vote 2010 brochure. Our walk packets now target all kinds of voters Democrats, Independents even persuadable Republicans and are prepared in co-operation with the Coordinated Campaign.
We are currently using the house of Evan Geraniotis at 1256 West 10th St, Erie PA 16502 as our staging area but hope to get an additional staging area for East Erie in the future.
