Philadelphia - Former Prosecutor Dan McCaffery Receives the Endorsement of the Allegheny County Prison Employees Independent Union

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, January 19, 2012, - The law enforcement endorsements for Pennsylvania Attorney General Candidate Dan McCaffery continue again today. McCaffery received the enthusiastic endorsements of the Allegheny County Prison Employees Independent Union

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Allegheny County Prison Employees Independent Union," said McCaffery. "Their support further shows that Pennsylvania’s law enforcement community is squarely behind me in this election."

The Allegheny County Prison Employees Independent Union, which represents 421 full-time and 71 part-time employees, recognized in McCaffery the experience and law enforcement background that is needed to become the Attorney General of Pennsylvania.

"Above all else, Pennsylvania needs an Attorney General with the necessary real-world trial experience to succeed," said union President Charles Manderino. "We are proud to support Dan McCaffery because of all the candidates in this race, Dan is the most qualified to become our next Attorney General."

The endorsement of the Allegheny County Prison Employees Independent Union is merely the latest in a long line of major endorsements for McCaffery's surging campaign.
